In DNA of Sept.17 in the coverage on the Sujal Chugh case, Bunty Chugh is reported to have said to the court, “I made a mistake.” The judges, Bilal Nazki and AR Joshi responded by saying, “You will soon realize how big a mistake it is.” Such an observation, I feel, was neither warranted nor befitting the dignity of a judge. It seems to smack of vindictiveness.
